Dr. Greg OlsenMeet Dr. Greg Olsen

My name is Dr. Greg Olsen. I am a wellness expert and I am here to help you.

So let me ask you a question, “what would you change about your health or your life if you could”?  If you are suffering from chronic pain, fibromyalgia, peripheral neuropathy, vertigo, back pain, neck pain, headaches or hypothyroid problems, I believe we can help!

As a Wellness Expert, I find that all health problems like the ones listed about have three causes – nutritional and chemical toxicity, hormones imbalance caused by stress, and trauma causing neurological damage. When we address these three causes, people get better.

My purpose is to help as many people as possible, so I hope that you are next.

More about me

Well I see it this way…. growing up, my grandfather, father, brother, and cousin were all electricians so I learned a fair amount about electricity and circuits and making connections. I also really enjoyed working out and helping others to learn more about their bodies and health through working out, healthy diet, and supplements. What this led to was me making a decision after high school about which direction that I wanted to go, either electrical engineering or physical therapy. At that time, I chose to go into physical therapy and started college in this direction. As I was going to college, I knew that I needed to work at a physical therapy office to know what that type of work involved. This led me to work for a physical therapy office and then in a chiropractic office. Through these experiences, I definitely knew that I really wanted to be working with people, helping them to get better.

It was the experience at the chiropractic office, seeing how the doctor worked with evaluating and treating patients and how much better they felt, that I began to understand more about how the body worked. I felt inspired by the way patients were helped. From this experience, I decided to go into chiropractic care. The doctor that inspired me to go into chiropractic practiced a technique called, Total Body Modification. The way he treated using this technique made sense to me, so when I got to chiropractic college, I asked how do I learn this technique. Well, I was directed to an organization on campus that worked with students and local doctors to teach the students this technique. In the process of the intense training at chiropractic college and the additional training in this and other techniques, I began to see that I was training to be an ‘electrical engineer’ for the body.

As I continued, I began to learn more about functional neurology, functional medicine, and integrative lab testing to support and optimize the results with patients. There were great mentors that inspired me and taught me so much, not just how to treat, but how to think when looking to find out what the body needs to heal. One mentor, Dr. George Goodheart, had a great saying, “As a doctor, you find out that the more you know, the more you find out that you don’t know, so you learn more and then find out that the more you know, the more you find out you don’t know.”

This really created a deep drive to learn more to help patients and I have been committed to this way of thinking and practice for over 30 years and this is how we are able to provide ‘life changing care.’ After graduating from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in April 1994, my journey began into chiropractic practice. I know that I was truly led to this life path and thank God every day for the joy and privilege of being able to help people.
