New Patient Information About Your First Visits
Prior to Your Appointment
You will receive your patient intake forms and your consultation will be scheduled. We ask you to complete the forms and send the back for the doctor to review, prior to your consultation so the doctor can evaluate how much time is needed for a thorough consultation and exam.
Next, you will receive a follow up email and call verifying your appointment and the amount of time for your initial consultation and exam.
DAY ONE (First Appointment)
Consultation: You will have a consultation with Dr. Greg Olsen to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. The initial visit is designed for the Dr. Olsen to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how the care we provide can help you meet your goals.
Examination: After your consultation, Dr. Olsen will perform a complete examination checking for limitations in range of motion, weakened muscles that may be weakened, tightened, or atrophied, along with an orthopedic examination to test for inflammation and other neurological, postural, and physical tests. Nothing, however, will be done without your consent.
X-Ray/Labs: You may be asked to have x-rays or other lab testing done, depending upon the type of condition you may have, in order to help the doctor formulate the most effective treatment plan for you.
*Please notify us if you know that you have any serious spinal conditions.
X-rays can help us identify misalignment and degeneration; and labs allow us to take a deeper look at where the root of the symptoms results from. You may be amazed at what Dr. Olsen finds!
DAY TWO (Second Appointment)
Report of Findings: Once we have all the information collected from you consultation, x-rays, and/or labs, Dr. Olsen will review and analyze the information, along with your health goals you discussed. He will then prepare the information for you to review.
Together you and Dr. Olsen will review what exactly is going on with your body and the recommendations to help you get to the goals you have for your health.
You will then be able to discuss with the front office what treatment plan option would work best for you; this will be where we discuss your insurance benefits or your payment plan options.
And you may receive your first treatment if you choose to do so.
