8 yrs of lower back pain gone
Posted on May 7, 2009
After 8 years of low back pain and multiple excuses I decided to try chiropractic care. On June 24, I married my soulmate and all was perfect… and more relaxed…too relaxing. I guess I had been so wound up with stress that when my life finally came together, my back decided to relax.. and I turned into rubber toy being chew up by fido. I immediately started taking 12 Advil a day. Only later, as a result of Dr. Olsen educating me on my body, did I realize I was only masking the pain. Within a few weeks Dr. Olsen had me sitting, standing, and walking without pain. Oh the simple pleasures! I would recommend Dr. Olsen because he is trained to help you in mind & body. Jeff Mayland
Low back pain corrected after finding cause of problem

I would recommend Chiropractic & Applied Kinesiology from Dr. Olsen to anyone wanting improved and optimum health. I had been to several Chiropractor over the past 10 years after finding that my right leg seemed to be shorter than the left. In actuality my legs are the same length, but I had 1st stage degeneration in the curve of my neck, my spine was crooked and my right hip would roll and pull my right leg short, causing lower back pain and decreased mobility. I even wore an orthotic in my right shoe (as instructed by a previous Chiropractor). They all used Chiropractic adjustments to correct the problem, but as soon as I would stop treatment, my problems would return. Dr. Olsen was the first to find the degeneration in my neck. He was also the first to stress the importance of frequent and continued treatment to correct the problems permanently. My treatments began at 3 times a week and now I am receiving treatment only once per month. He was the only one to show me proper stretching exercises to do at home and strongly recommend that I purchase a neck pump for use at home. I no longer wear an orthotic in my shoe, my legs are even, and the normal, natural, healthy curve is returning to my neck. I am truly grateful for Dr. Olsen’s medical expertise as well as his caring & kindness. He genuinely cares about his patients health. Lynn Marchin
Avid golfer & would take 4 advil just to make it through each round of golf

I had been seeing a Chiropractor to relieve neck and lower back pain for several years but his office location made it inconvenient for me to visit regularly. Basically, I would get adjusted to relieve pain but nothing was being done to correct the underlying problems. I was diagnosed with a “reverse curve” in my neck and experienced pain in my neck and lower back pretty consistently. I am an avid golfer and would take four advil just to make it through each round of golf. I was a mess and my chiropractor was so far away that I couldn’t visit regularly. After two great massages, I though I would try Dr. Olsen. After all, I was going through the advil regularly and I felt I was too young to have so much back trouble. Dr. Olsen confirmed the “reverse curve” in my neck (stage 2 vertebral subluxation complex) and we immediately started a program of regular adjustments and traction to correct the problem. After the first week, I noticed a great improvement. I was driving on the freeway, I turned to check the lane beside me, and I could not believe the range of motion I had in my neck-WITH NO PAIN ! I guess I had gotten used to expecting a twinge whenever I checked the lanes! I’ve been visiting Dr. Olsen for only a short time (six weeks) but the improvement has been dramatic. I can’t remember the last time I took advil. Recently I discovered that I am pregnant with twins and I just know that my pregnancy will be more comfortable due to Dr. Olsen’s care. I feel healthier, happier, and do not have any neck pain! Best of all my golf swing is as smooth as ever! I would recommend Dr. Olsen to anyone who is serious about improving their quality of life. Many thanks to Dr. Olsen for helping me re-discover how life is supposed to feel-pain free! I’m looking forward to seeing that curve re-appear in my neck someday soon!
Rheumatoid Arthritis Pain

When I first came to you for treatment, I just didn’t feel good. I ached all over but I thought that the pain was just part of being afflicted with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I didn’t expect you to be able to do anything to alleviate my pain. I was greatly surprised when, in the first few treatments, my neck and back pain were nearly gone, thus eliminating most of the headaches. Next came the legs. The pain in my bones kept me awake at night and I was getting concerned that the pain was being caused by something more serious. Once again you were able to attack my problem at the source and not just give me a medication to mask the symptoms. Through reading my body you have been able to keep me pain free, and I truly believe, stopped the progression of my disease. Besides alleviating the pain , you have proved to me that my body can feel good and function properly without the use of any type of medication. Thank you, Dr. Olsen, for making my life so much more comfortable and allowing me to once again be physically active. I now can see that I have the ability to do just about anything I want to do, and I feel great. Sincerely Angel Fitch
Lower back pain, trouble putting on nyons all better!

Dr. Olsen has made a tremendous difference in my overall healh and well being since I have been seeing him. When I first came to see him, I was having alot of discomfort in my lower back and could barely “flex” enough to put on nylons when dressing for work. My family has a long history of osteoporosis so I was conceerned about the immediate pain but also the long term implications. Xrays confirmed that I did already have moderate wearing in the disc. Dr. Olsen has faithfully and patiently worked with me through the past few years by addressing multiple issues that have dramatically improved by overall health including: Adjstments and manipulations to relieve pain and to keep my spine aligned, use of Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) to help identify and release hidden emotional patterns. Even though I was skeptical in the beginning, it is amazing how it helped to release the tightness stored in my body and how it served to promote overall functioning of health (there is definitely a mind-body-emotion connection). Aalysis of nutritional needs including regime of supplements to address deficiencies. Encouragement to eat properly (although he knows that I always find a place for a “small amount of chocolate). Encouragement to take yoga. I have always exercised, but yoga has helped to return my range of flexibility. I‘m extremely appreciative of Dr. Olsen for his care. While he is not my primary physician (although the two have even collaborated on the best approaches to address early signs of osteoporosis), I rely more on his judgment and advice when I make personal decisions for longterm health. Thank you Dr. Olsen for your support and care! Bev Cadwell
